Grand Alès Public Office for Housing was created from the successive evolutions of the Office HLM of Alès created in 1922.

As a Public Establishment of Industrial and Commercial nature, its geographical domain spreads at the regional level. Logis Cévenols is a builder, a developer contractor and an administrator and it applies itself to develop a diversified accommodation offer. The real-estate asset is located in the city centers, as well as in the villages, and enables to meet the diversity of demands.
In order to provide a service of quality, 100 to 200 collaborators have been appointed to community management.

• If you look for accommodation:
  Request documents are at your disposal at the Logis Cévenols head office, in the City Halls or in any of our commercial offices.
  Your request will be examined by the Commission d’Attribution des Logements (Accomodation Allocation Commission).
  Any change in your marital or professional status, or in your address and telephone number must be communicated.
  Your request must be renewed each year on the same day.

• If you move in your new accommodation:
  If you take out a lease for accommodation, you will have to prrovide a security deposit corresponding to a month’s rent and an insurance certificate.
  An inventory of fixtures will enable to see that your accommodation is in good condition when you move in. It will also enable you to meet the janitor who will be the one to whom you’ll ask most of your questions and make most of your requests.

• To pay your rent…
  You have several option to pay your rent. Direct debit is the surest way and the less restrictive. You can also pay with your credit card or by Bank Giro Transfer.
  If you have any problem , do not wait and contact your account manager to try and find a solution.

• You are a APL recipient:
  All the Logis Cévenols accommodations are fit to the necessary conditions to apply for the APL aid (Individualized Aid for Accomodation). If you receive APL the amount of money you will receive as an aid will automatically be deducted from your rent.

• You move out from your accommodation:
  The visit you have done with the janitor will be very useful to help you prepare your moving out in the best conditions.
  Please inform the administration and the energy suppliers that your address is changing.
