Since years now Alès receive teens from 12 to 17 in the Quartiers des Cévenes, Près-Saint-Jean, and in the city center.
These “espaces jeunes” are aimed at enabling teens to gather in public places to create with a coordinators team leisure activities adapted to their tastes.
Teens are grouped by age bracket (12-14 and 15-17)

Each center was develop to meet the expectancies of teens

• On room for each age bracket
• One playroom to enjoy table football, billard tables, table tennis, paintball machines, etc.
• One room for video games, and computers
• Alès put three minibuses and a bus at disposal for play trips.

Extra-curricular activities ( from September to june)

• Espace Jeunes “Rénovation”: on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 4.30 to 6.30 pm.
• Espaces Jeunes des Cévennes, Près-Saint-Jean, Promelles and Rénovation:
  On Wednesday from 1 to 7 pm, two activities for each center
  On Fridays from 6.30 to 8.30 pm
  On saturdaus from 1 to 6 pm with three activities proposed in each center. The Espace Jeunes Rénovation is open on Saturday morning from 10 am to 12 pm, but it is closed on Friday evenings.

Summer (July and August)

• The Youth Centers are orpen or closed in July depending on the program of activities drafted by the activities team.
• All the Youth Centers are closed in August.

Before you come to any center you have to take a registration with the director of the youth center.
Once your request has been submitted you will be given a Leisure Passport to access to the youth center of your choice.
Leisure Passports are delivered according to the availabilities.
Registration to be taken at the Mairie Prim’ (rue Michelet), valid from September 15th to June 30th.
