For 20€ a year, the member associations of Alès 1901 benefit from a room at the Maison des Associations (the associations center), depending on the availability. They are also registered in the Associations Directory, which is reprinted each year by Alès City Hall, and they can take part in the Forum des Associations ( forum of associations) which takes place in September on the side of the Gardon.
Alès 1901 tries to promote the associative life (copying of advertisements, event planning, etc.) and can buy equipment for the activities of the association on its own budget, if they take place in the Espace André Chamson (projector, mirrors, sound effects, computers, digital camera, etc.)

Half of the board of directors of Alès 1901 is made of the presidents of the member associations. A collegiate decision relying on specific status and regulations is taken for each request for membership coming from an association. So as to meet the expectancies of the public and to offer them a large choice of activities, new requests must correspond to diversified activities.
