Alès Grande Ecole of Engineering Studies was ranked in the 40th first engineering studies school of France (35th), in the 2009/2010 term the EMA numbers, 163 research professors and postdoctoral researchers, 755 students, 201 missions in the field, 84 creators of enterprise.
The EMA has a 22.9 million euros budget. Each year, 170 engineers graduate from the EMA. The Ema has three laboratory which work closely with the enterprises of the Alès basin:
Its technology incubator is a real driving force behind the enterprise process of the school. In 2008, graduated engineers students have manage to have 35 200€ of annual gross pay in France and 41 300€ at the international level for an average salary of 37 000€. 30% of the students in 2008 have found a job on the international market.
